Mr. Mohammed Awni –Accountable & Training Manager/CEO from 2014

Mr. Awni is the main liaison person on all training commissions between CARC/EASA on behalf of TAT. He provides strategic plans and resources for the Training Organization to function and deliver quality services. He is in charge for the provision of sufficient human resources, with appropriate qualifications to manage and lead the training facility, and steers the commercial and marketing activities towards promoting TAT as one of the leading training Academy in the region. MR Awni holds H.N.D AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING -Higher National Diploma from Chelsea college of Aeronautical Engineering (London, England) and Aircraft maintenance engineering certificate from Burnside Ott Aviation, Embry Riddle University, Daytona FL, USA. He has occupied several positions including Regional Manager at Thales Avionics & Director of Quality, Director of Training in Joramco Training Academy ( AST ) in addition to Director of Maintenance & Inspection. He had worked earlier as the Director of Maintenance at the Royal Squadron and Line Manager at the Royal Jordanian. He is a professional member at SLATE, society of licensed air craft engineers and technologies- London England and has a several licenses and accreditations in the Maintenance Aviation industry with over 35 years of experience.

Mr. Hashem – Quality Manager

Mr. Hashem manages the Quality System in accordance with the requirements of the licenses issued by EASA and CARC authorities. He implements a quality audit program to ensure that all procedures and activities are efficient and meet their intended purposes. He manages the scheduled audit plan and ensures that the Exposition and its associated manuals are constantly updated and amended to meet EASA and CARC regulations and standards.

Mr. Ahmed Ghazi Elias – Head of Training

Mr. Elias is a professional instructor, trainer and facilitator with over 15 years of experience in the aviation industry. His role at TAT is to ensure that the operation of the training organization is efficiently managed and conforms to the requirements as stipulated by EASE & CARC. Mr. Elias is currently developing and delivering sessions on various topics related to Aircraft Ground Handling Services - Airside safety, Baggage Reconciliation, Aircraft load control/weight & balance, Ramp handling, Passengers handling, Cargo handling and IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. He confirms that all approved courses, processes, regulations and examinations are delivered to the standard and content and at the required level of knowledge.

Mr. Mohammed Adel - Training Manager

Mr. Mohammed Adel is responsible for planning facilitating and designing maintenance training. He manages all duties related to maintenance training and determines the training objectives. He develops maintenance related curriculums to include all supporting training documents and aids. Mr. Mohammed ensures that the operation of training organization is efficiently managed and conforms to the requirements of the Part-147 as stipulated by EASA & CARC. He administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees’ performance. Mr. Adel has over 35 years of professional experience and holds a Civil Aviation Training Institute Diploma of aircraft and Maintenance Engineering (Airframe & Engine) in addition to Egyptian Civil Aviation Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License and Jordanian Civil Aviation License in Airframe &Power plants. Mr. Mohammed had worked at the Royal Jordanian Airlines and Joramco for over 20 years as a manager for performing maintenance task (Ramp and Hanger levels). He has vast experience in Airframe Maintenance, Engine Run – Up, Airframe and power plants systems, line and base maintenance electrics, Avionic systems and many others.

TAT Trainers are qualified and experienced individuals who enjoy diverse experience, knowledge and have practical exercises for hand skills necessary to work on aircraft components.TAT trainers have years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance and an outgoing personality with excellent communication skills to instruct candidates in this field of study.



The Accountable Manager heads the management team and administrators at TAT including:
  • The Examination Manager who’s responsible for the selection of the examination questions / papers to be sat which are appropriate to the particular phase, standard and level of knowledge of the training course

  • The Examiner ensures the security of the examination material and the integrity of the examinations throughout the examination process

  • The Instructor prepares the course syllabus and the creation of the course material and slides. He /She Performs the instructional duties using the latest learning methods and tools

  • The Assessor is responsible for monitoring and assessing trainees during pre-set practical tasks and hand-skills, which includes handling of tools and calibration of equipment to determine the level of their practical on a particular module

  • The Invigilator Ensures that the examination regulations are explained to and understood by the candidates / students prior to the commencement of the phase examination being sat

TAT Training Organization's instructors and examiners conduct all theoretical type training at its own facility, or at customer’s premises. Practical training and practical assessments take place at maintenance Training Organizations where TAT has made access arrangements. Such facilities include places of workshops, tools, equipment, and available aircraft parts and airplanes. For practical training on aircraft types, the TAT instructors and practical assessors will perform such training and/or assessments on customer’s aircraft.

All TAT personnel perform their duties in accordance with PART -147 requirements and in adherence with Part-66type/task training specifications set by CARC and EASA commissions. Professional courses (Ground, Cargo & Dangerous Goods handling) are executed in accordance with the IATA regulations.
